1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MailNuke ("the Service"), an AI-powered inbox cleaner operated by MailNuke ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

MailNuke connects to your email account (Gmail or Outlook) via OAuth to:

  • Scan your recent emails and classify them using AI into categories (Threat, Marketing, Subscription, Keep).
  • Nuke unwanted emails by moving them to Trash (Gmail) or Deleted Items (Outlook).
  • Unsubscribe from marketing and newsletter senders via RFC 8058 one-click unsubscribe or mailto-based unsubscribe requests.
  • Whitelist trusted senders so their emails are excluded from future classification.

3. Plans and Pricing

Pro Plan:

  • Up to 2 inbox scans per day.
  • Each scan processes up to 100 recent emails.
  • Full access to nuke, unsubscribe, and whitelist features.
  • Monthly: $2.99/month.
  • Yearly: $14.99/year.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Unlimited Plan:

  • Unlimited inbox scans.
  • Weekly automated scans with email summary.
  • Yearly: $49.99/year.

We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable advance notice. Existing subscribers will be honored at their current rate until the end of their billing period.

4. Gmail Actions

When you use MailNuke to take action on your emails, please be aware of the following:

  • Trashing emails: Emails moved to Trash (Gmail) or Deleted Items (Outlook) remain recoverable for 30 days before your email provider permanently deletes them. You can recover trashed emails during this period directly in your email provider.
  • Unsubscribe requests: Unsubscribe actions are sent on a best-effort basis. We use RFC 8058 one-click unsubscribe or mailto-based requests where available, but we cannot guarantee that a sender will honor the unsubscribe request.
  • Irreversibility: While trashed emails can be recovered from your email provider's Trash within 30 days, unsubscribe requests cannot be undone through MailNuke. You may need to re-subscribe directly with the sender.

5. AI Classification

Emails are classified using AI (Google Gemini 2.5 Flash). While we strive for accuracy:

  • AI classification is not guaranteed to be 100% accurate. Emails may be miscategorized.
  • You are responsible for reviewing classifications before taking bulk actions such as nuking or unsubscribing.
  • We recommend checking the AI-provided reasoning for each classification before acting on it.
  • MailNuke is not a substitute for professional security assessment. Threat classifications (phishing/scams) are informational and should not be your sole basis for determining whether an email is a security threat.

6. Data Retention

  • Email metadata stored by MailNuke is automatically purged after 30 days from the original received date.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Account deletion permanently removes all of your data from MailNuke, including:

  • All email metadata and classifications.
  • Whitelisted senders.
  • Scan history and preferences.
  • Authentication records and OAuth tokens.

Active Stripe subscriptions will be cancelled immediately upon account deletion.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
  • Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use automated tools to access the Service outside of its intended interface.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MailNuke shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of emails, missed communications, or failed unsubscribe requests.

10. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
